WORKSHOPS & courses
We’re offering our popular workshops again in 2020, as well as introducing some exciting new ones. We keep our class sizes small to ensure everyone gets the hands on experience they deserve and the level of guidance they may need. All classes are suitable for complete beginners.
Usually all florals and botanicals used in our workshops are harvested from our flower farm. Where we need additional materials, they are sourced from other local organic growers.
We also run private sessions - including flower crowns, wreath making and many more. For parties, hen parties, or any other event please contact us directly for details.
As the weather warms up, now is the time to get planting for summer abundance. This private online workshop is a live, one-on-one session with me via Instagram. The workshop price includes seeds, seedlings, paper pots, vermiculite, and detailed planting instructions. You will receive enough seeds and seedlings to plant out a 2m2 garden with blooms and edibles. This session helps you create a cottage style garden - plenty of flowers for picking combined with some edibles too. Seeds and seedlings will need to be collected from Organic Feast the day before our online session. Online workshop can be arranged on any day or time that is mutually suitable. Online session will run for around 60 mins. I am also available after this time for any follow up questions you may have.
This magical workshop gives a hands-on experience for Mum + One to learn how to make a beautiful, natural floral crown. The workshop fee is for two attendees - namely Mum + One. The workshop would make a wonderful Mothers’ Day gift, allowing you to spend some quality time being creative with your Mum.
Flower crowns elevate an ordinary day to something magical. They are perfect for birthdays, picnic days, weddings and of course, Mothers’ Day. Flower crowns make a whimsical decorative addition to the home after they have been enjoyed as a crown.
All materials are locally grown and/or locally foraged and chemical free. All materials are provided as part of the workshop fee.
The workshop is available to all ages. Where children are attending (under 12 years) a guardian must also attend to assist the child attendee to construct a successful crown.
The workshop will run for an hour and a half.
Workshop will be held at Organic Feast, 10 William Street, East Maitland 10.00am Sunday 2nd May.
