Where can I purchase flowers from The Little Urban Flower Farm?

We offer a four week flower subscription, available via the website shop.

We also sell bouquets through Organic Feast, 10-12 Williams Street, East Maitland. And perhaps most fun of all we run a stall from Flora, our trusty flower cart, on the occasional Friday afternoon from 4-7 at Coquun, 396 High street, Maitland.

To guarantee availability, we recommend placing an order. Please either email simone@thelittleurbanflowerfarm.com or use the contact form. Please note that as we only harvest on demand, we usually require 12 hours’ notice to harvest, condition and prepare an order.

Do you deliver?

Can I visit The Little Urban Flower Farm?

No. The farm is also our family home. We do not offer farm gate sales, sell from home or offer tours. We do occasionally run workshops on the farm, so if you are keen to see how the farm works, look out for one of those.

Do you offer a design service? Can you do flowers for my wedding?

We do take on a very limited number of full service events each year. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

What chemicals do you use on The Little Urban Flower Farm.

None. We farm organically, and do not use any pesticides, herbicides, chemical fertilizers or any other chemicals on the farm. We also live organically, so do not use chemical products or pesticides in the home. We do not use any chemical preservatives in the water we harvest flowers into, nor in the presentation of our flowers.

Do you use a lot of water?

Not really. We have extensive grey water systems for use on our ornamental, vegetable and fruit gardens, and we use town water via a drip irrigation on our flower farm. Drip irrigation is incredibly efficient, and means our water usage is lower than many residential properties despite the extensive garden. We are in the process of installing rain water tanks, which will further reduce our reliance on supplied water.
